3 Stuffed Date Party Appetizers

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Goat cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped

The first thing you always have to do with the dates is take the pit out. Simply slice the date open with a knife and pull that little pit out with your fingers.
Stuff each date with the goat cheese, then wrap in bacon, and secure with a toothpick.
Bake at 375ºF for 15 minutes on the first side, then turn them over and bake for 10–15 minutes on the other side, until the bacon is crisp. Then you’re in business!

Parmigiano Reggiano stuffed, prosciutto wrapped

Use a whole slice of prosciutto for each date since it’s so thin, and I like to break off pieces of Parmesan with a knife.
Stick a few Parmesan pieces into each pitted date.
Then wrap it up in a slice of prosciutto and secure with a toothpick.
Bake in a 375ºF oven for 15–20 minutes, until the prosciutto is crispy.

Peanut butter and almond stuffed, bacon wrapped

Stuff each pitted date with a small spoonful of peanut butter, and an almond, then wrap in a half slice of bacon.
Bake in a 375ºF oven for 15 minutes on the first side, then flip and bake for another 10 minutes on the other side, until the bacon is crispy.

Enjoy, and feel free to get creative with the combinations!
